Theatre for Environment
Theatre is one medium which is a traditional medium of communication and is still very popular in all its forms. We have been promoting use of theatre by the students to communicate the issues of environment. Our theatre programs have been able to bring the students from across the country to emote themselves through a similar medium choosing different modes of theatre like nukkad natak, skit, play, ballet etc. but still convey the environmental problems and their perspective solutions. Theatre, since involves the participation of the teachers and the students at different levels, they conceive the problems from the region and on the given broad theme and then also look at the solutions as well. Then this is translated into scripts and finally the theatre.
