These jackets are completely natural and sustainable and are an ideal way of presenting a planter to your guests. They are also ideal as pots for the indoor plants which require less water. The planters in these from our end are usually of the herbal and medicinal plants like clove (laung), Bay Leaves (tejpatra), black pepper (kali mirch), Asafoetida (heeng), black currants (karaunda), Allspice etc.
Jal Sparsh products are being created by the rural marginalized women who were trained to extract water hyacinth from their local water bodies and make marketable products out of it to ensure a regular income for themselves and revival of the water bodies. The proceeds of the sale goes to the women beneficiaries under the initiative “From Waste to Wealth” supported by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
