Livelihood
Livelihood generation is rather a new theme that Eco Roots adopted very recently with the Jal Sparsh Project. The objective of the theme is to create sustainable income generation activities for the marginalized section of the society. But since Eco Roots is based on the foundation stone of Environmental Conservation, even with our livelihood projects we are majorly solving an environmental crisis.
Objective
- Poverty Alleviation: Lift marginalized communities out of poverty through sustainable income generation.
- Economic Empowerment: Equip individuals with skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
- Skill Development: Provide vocational training to enhance employability.
- Livelihood Diversification: Introduce alternative income sources resilient to challenges.
- Community Development: Foster socio-economic growth at the grassroots level.
- Gender Equality: Ensure equal access to opportunities for all, promoting inclusivity.
- Environmental Sustainability: This is the core of the organization and is surely an objective here as well.
