Ex - PCCF, Forest Department, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh

Originally from Dehradun, he joined the Indian Forest Services (IFS) in 1981 and has served tirelessly for over 40 years and grew onto becoming the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Department of Forest and Environment, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
He holds an expertise in Natural Resource Management and Development for nearly 35 years in Himalayan terrain , Terrai Arch, Indo-Gangetic belt and Vindhiyans. He also excels in key environmental issues as have handled them firsthand and worked with and within the communities to find sustainable solutions to them. He has been studying and popularizing the Biodiversity studies in Hindukush- Kailash Landscape to find sustainable solutions to the local problems faced by the local population. His experience of working in the government and with the community is instrumental in guiding us through community based projects that we design and wish to implement more and more in coming times.
