Dr. Rashmi Kant Shukla
Ex- PCCF, Forest Department, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh
Originally from Dehradun, he joined the indian forest services in 1981 and has served tirelessly for over 40 years and grew onto becoming the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Department of Forest and Environment, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
He holds an expertise in Natural Resource Management and Development for nearly 35 years in Himalayan terrain , Terrai Arch, Indo-Gangetic belt and Vindhiyans. He also excels in key Environmental issues as have handled them firsthand and worked with and within the communities to find sustainable solutions to them. He has been studying and popularizing the Biodiversity studies in Hindukush- Kailash Landscape to find sustainable solutions to the local problems faced by the local population. His experience of working in the government and with the community is instrumental in guiding us through community based projects that we design and wish to implement more and more in coming times.
Nipun Kaushik

A distinguished alumnus of Gujarat National Law University, bringing with him complimenting legal and social sector expertise, also showcasing a profound commitment to environmental stewardship. Over 15 years of dedicated service in the NGO sector, he had held influential management roles at the likes of SOS Children’s Villages of India and Oxfam India. Currently, serving as the Assistant General Manager, Corporate Communication at Development Alternatives, a global social enterprise, he channels his expertise towards driving corporate communication strategies and fundraising initiatives.
He is also associated with numerous grassroots organizations, as a Board of Director, Humble Smile Foundation and on the Advisory Board of Support Foundation, Avtar Development Foundation, etc. to name the prominent ones, he provides strategic guidance to these and contributes both functionally and strategically. He has also been invited by various corporations, schools and colleges to guide them on sustainable lifestyle.
He has worked with us at the helm directly supporting Rakesh ji right from conceiving to fundraising to implementation of multiple programs at the organization. Particularly Jal Sparsh- Waste to Wealth project was his brain child and he pitched it to SIDBI and got the initial support. Further leading the pilot phase of the project leading to great success to be able to get the Scaled up of the same.
Through his multifaceted roles and unwavering dedication, Mr. Kaushik continues to inspire positive change and foster collaborative efforts towards a sustainable and resilient future and continue to be an asset to the organization guiding us through operational as well as creative challenges.
